Framework and Curriculum Guide

This guide will help you encourage and support students. They will introduce activity possibilities, maintain a positive play environment, and assist when challenges and conflicts arise. However, whenever possible, the responsibility of decision-making and problem-solving should be placed in the hands of students.

By providing a framework and curriculum through which young people can assess unmet school and/or community needs, plan and execute a program to meet those needs, and reflect on their experience, Lead2Play offers hands-on leadership and character-building experiences. The program empowers young people to become proactive problem solvers and advocates for a healthy community.

Lead2Play was founded by Dr. George Selleck, a nationally recognized psychologist, sports education specialist, management consultant, author and Hall of Fame athlete.
